You will build the client websites and webapps that go live under real business names: marketing sites for clinics and trade companies in Canada and the UK, booking and quote flows, ecommerce storefronts, and the admin panels their staff open every morning. The stack is Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind and Postgres on Vercel, and whoever writes the feature is the one who ships it.

Why this role

Two years from now you will have a portfolio of live sites in six countries with your own architecture decisions inside them, instead of one ticket queue on one product you never see end to end.

A normal week

  1. You take a Figma screen on Monday and have it on a staging URL the client can click by Wednesday.
  2. You sit with the designer for ten minutes to settle a layout question, instead of filing it and waiting a sprint.
  3. You drag a client's booking page from a 71 Lighthouse score to 95, then watch their form fills move.
  4. You join the call where your work is demoed and answer the client's question yourself.

What you’ll do

  • Build client websites and webapps in Next.js and React, from the data model to the deployed page.
  • Turn Figma designs into responsive, accessible components that hold up on a three-year-old Android.
  • Wire up forms, payments, dashboards and CMS-driven content against Postgres and our API routes.
  • Own Core Web Vitals for the pages you ship, and fix what regresses after launch.
  • Deploy to Vercel, watch the build, and handle whatever production tells you afterwards.

What we’re looking for

  • 2 to 4 years writing React in production, at least one of them with Next.js.
  • Comfortable in TypeScript without fighting it, and in modern CSS or Tailwind without leaning on a UI kit.
  • You have shipped something real to users and supported it after launch.
  • Solid Git, SQL basics, and the patience to read someone else's code before rewriting it.
  • Clear written English; you will be in threads with clients in Canada, the UK and Australia.

Nice to have (not required)

  • App Router and server components experience, though we are happy to bring you across if you have only used the Pages Router.
  • Anything you have built against an LLM API, even a weekend experiment.
  • A side project or a stubborn eye for design detail; either tells us more than a certificate does.
