How we work

A five-stage process built for fast, confident shipping.

The same process behind every project — from a $1,200 Starter site to a $30,000 webapp. Transparent timelines, daily portal updates, and zero agency theatre.

  1. Stage 1 · Days 0–3

    Kickoff

We sit with the goals and the constraints, audit what you have, and write a one-page brief everyone signs off on.

    We do

    • Goals & success-metric workshop (60 mins, async-friendly)
    • Brand audit — colours, type, photo treatment, voice
    • Content audit — what's keepable, what's not
    • Tech audit — domains, DNS, analytics, third-party tools
    • Sitemap + page-by-page outline

    From you

    • Access to current site / domain
    • Brand assets (logo, fonts, photos — anything you have)
    • Decision-maker availability for one 30-min call

Delivered: A signed brief, a sitemap, and a kickoff doc on file.

  2. Stage 2 · Week 1–2

    Design

Figma-first. We draft the homepage and the most important inner page, send a video walkthrough, and iterate. No 47-slide proposal decks.

    We do

    • Wireframes for homepage + 2 key inner pages
    • Hi-fi designs for the same in our brand-system style
    • Mobile + desktop views (mobile-first, always)
    • 5-min Loom walkthrough explaining decisions
    • 1–2 revision rounds depending on tier

    From you

    • Figma / Loom feedback (no calls required unless you want one)
    • Final approval signed off in writing

Delivered: Approved Figma designs ready for build.

  3. Stage 3 · Week 2–6

    Build

We build on Next.js + Tailwind (or Shopify / WooCommerce for ecom). Lighthouse 90+ is non-negotiable. We don't ship until it's fast.

    We do

    • Component-driven build matching the Figma exactly
    • Performance budget enforced (LCP < 1.5 s on 4G)
    • Accessibility audit (axe) and keyboard testing
    • SEO setup — schema, sitemap, robots, OG tags
    • Content load (with you, or by us)
    • Daily updates in your portal /app

    From you

    • Final copy + assets (we'll prompt with reminders)
    • Quick approval on integrations (analytics, CRM, etc.)

Delivered: Staging URL with the full site, ready for review.

  4. Stage 4 · Week 5–8

    Review

You + your team get a full week with the staging site. We collect feedback in one thread, prioritise, and ship the changes in batches.

    We do

    • Loom walkthrough of every page
    • 1–2 revision rounds (per tier)
    • Cross-browser + cross-device QA
    • Form submission + integration testing
    • Final performance + accessibility check

    From you

    • Feedback in one consolidated batch (no email tag)
    • Sign-off on the launch-ready build

Delivered: A launch-ready site with everyone happy.

  5. Stage 5 · Week 6–10

    Launch

    DNS cutover, real-user monitoring, and a 30 / 60 / 90 day post-launch window where bug fixes are free.

    We do

    • DNS / hosting cutover scheduled with you
    • Search Console + Analytics live data verification
    • 301 redirects for any URL changes
    • Monitoring + alerts wired up
    • Handoff doc + 1-hour walkthrough call

    From you

    • Coffee, optionally — celebration is encouraged

Delivered: Live site, monitoring on, post-launch SLA active.

Async-first

The portal is the source of truth.

Every project gets a live /app — files, timeline, messages, invoices. Comments live next to the deliverable, not buried in a chain of emails. Most clients prefer it; the few who like calls still get them.

Kickoff usually starts within a week of signing.
