Junior AI Developer

  • JavaScript
  • LLM APIs

  • SQL

You will start on the parts of Redenn's AI work that are real but contained: writing and testing prompts for client chatbots, preparing the content that feeds retrieval, and building small internal tools that save the team hours every week. Within a few months you move on to shipping features inside the chatbot and the Pro Lifeset CRM that paying clients depend on.

Why this role

You get a senior AI engineer reading your code every week and live traffic on the thing you built, which almost no first job at a large services company will hand you.

A normal week

  1. You take a client's messy service pages and turn them into a clean knowledge base the chatbot can actually answer from.
  2. You read yesterday's chatbot transcripts, mark exactly where it went wrong, and try a fix.
  3. You write a small Python or TypeScript tool, get it reviewed line by line, and ship it.
  4. You join the weekly review where the team picks what to build next, and you are expected to have an opinion.

What you’ll do

  • Write, test and iterate prompts for client chatbots and internal tools.
  • Prepare and maintain the content that retrieval pipelines read from.
  • Review real conversations, log where the model failed, and propose fixes.
  • Build small scripts and internal tools under senior review.
  • Keep clear written notes on what you tried and what happened.

What we’re looking for

  • 0 to 2 years of experience, plus at least one LLM side project you can show and explain in detail.
  • Comfortable in Python or JavaScript: you can read someone else's code and change it without breaking it.
  • You can call an API, read its docs, and debug the response yourself before asking.
  • Basic Git and basic SQL.
  • Careful with detail, and honest when something does not work.

Nice to have (not required)

  • You have used the raw Claude or OpenAI SDKs; that counts for more here than framework experience.
  • A CS or related degree helps, but a strong side project matters more to us than where you studied.
  • You have deployed something other people actually used, even if it was twenty classmates.
